Why should I choose Louisville Model Shots?
L.M.S. is owned and operated by professionals in the photography, entertainment and modeling industry. With many years of experience in our respective fields, we truly understand our customers' needs and desires. Some studios try to get as many people in and out of their doors as possible. We spend as much time as needed in making you or your children feel comfortable so that we may capture the perfect image. Many of our clients comment on our professionalism, friendliness and the fact that we don't rush them, we make them feel at ease.

How long does it usually take before I can see proofs of my photos?
Depending on the photo session and the location, proofs can many times be seen immediately following the shoot on a PC or MAC computer screen. Understand that these will be un-touched raw images. We are basically looking for poses, lighting and composition at this point.

When can I expect my finished photos or video?
Most photos and videos can be edited and/or photo-shopped within 7-10 days and in other cases usually no longer than 14 days.

How do I know if I should order prints or CDs/DVDs?
Depending on your needs, L.M.S. can provide you with limited copyright permission and a CD or DVD of your files so that you may print only the photos you want at your own leisure. Or, if you like, we can produce virtually any size prints you need at an affordable price.

Does L.M.S. store my photo and video files in case I want to reorder in the future?
Yes, we burn all photos and video files to DVD archival master discs and store for future re-orders.

What is your policy on reservations and cancellations?
Of course we are usually available for walk-ins. If you require a specific time slot, a non-refundable $75.00 deposit is required. This deposit may be applied towards your purchase. The $75.00 deposit does not apply to major events; i.e. weddings, receptions, corporate events, etc... These events require a deposit of ½ the total negotiated contract price. Cancellation policy for major events will be included in contract.

What can I expect at the photo shoot?
L.M.S. does not provide clothing. You are encouraged to bring whatever you need for the photo shoot including: props, change of clothes, pets, etc… We can provide hair and make-up services for an additional fee. These optional services must be reserved and paid for in advance and are not refundable.

Do I have to come to your studio or do you travel and shoot on-location?
L.M.S. specializes in on-location shooting. Many models, high school seniors and families prefer a park, their home or other non-studio setting. These prices are negotiated depending on the location and time involved. Of course, our studio is always available for your session.

How many people can you photograph in one sitting?
We can photograph from one person to a family reunion of 100 or more depending on what the location will allow. Please call for more details.

Can you provide on-location printing so my guests may take their photos home with them?
Certainly. We are one of the few studios specializing in on-location printing for your personal or corporate event with professional equipment from Sony. Please contact us for pricing on this unique service including matt frames and the use of green screen technology.
